3D TEXTILES
Exhibition for Tent London 2010 as part of the London Design Festival. Traditional textiles are transformed into 3D objects. Laces, tweeds and damasks are extruded to create stalagmite structures. Each form retains a certain richness and sense of decorative grandeur when viewed from above, but in profile they become something at once beautiful and terrifying.
